Brag Your Swag Draw Nov 1, 2023

In advance of our registration, we'll do our random draw for three runners to get free entry into #BragYourSwag contest where you guys show off gear from previous years. We'll hold it as a Facebook livestream at 8pm on Nov 1. It's lots of fun. We setup a big spin wheel and put everybody on it who entered. Even if you can't tune in, we'll drop you a line after. There's still time to get entered. Odds are pretty high at 1 in 10 chance of winning!

Check out everyone who bragged their swag already -

Non-binary race category

non-binary symbol

Join us in celebrating diversity, promoting equality, and breaking down barriers in the world of trail running. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-time racer, we welcome you with open arms.

This year, we will have a Non-Binary Category open to all individuals who identify as non-binary, genderqueer, genderfluid, or anywhere along the gender spectrum. It's your chance to showcase your strength, determination, and love for the great outdoors while running alongside a supportive and welcoming community.

PYP goes fully cupless

In our quest to continue raising our own bar of eco-conscious race operation each year, our race is going cupless in unwavering support of the environment. Last year we reduced our waste to just one mere garbage bag but we're continuing towards reducing single-use plastic waste by eliminating disposable drink cups at aid stations. We encourage participants to bring their reusable containers and hydration systems. This sustainable initiative not only champions the protection of the beautiful natural landscapes we run through but also inspires runners to be mindful of their ecological footprint, embodying the spirit of stewardship for our planet. Join us in this important endeavor as we race for a greener and more sustainable future. We have taken cues from many cupless races and will still have a cup available for warm liquids like soup.

Hammer Nutrition Canada Joins Again as 2024 Electorlyte and Gel Sponsor

Boxes and tubes of Hammer Nutrition products

We are so pleased to have Hammer Nutrition Canada joining us again as our 2024 gel and electrolyte sponsor. When you roll into an aid station, grab yourself some gels for the next section and top up your flask with Heed electrolyte to stay strong and avoid the bonk!

We believe in Hammer products so much, Creative Director Chris fueled himself for 96 straight hours on his recent 200 mile race, Big Foot 200 using Hammer gels, bars, Fizz and Heed electrolytes!
